Non-Stop and One-Stop Flights from Europe to Tampa

There are two airports to consider when flying into the Tampa/St. Petersburg area.

Tampa International Airport (Airport Code: TPA) is the best airport to fly into to get to St. Petersburg – especially from international destinations. The airport provides excellent access to people flying within the United States and offers 17 nonstop international routes. Additionally there are hundreds of convenient international one-stop connections to get to Tampa. Nonstop flights can come from Amsterdam, London, Frankfurt, and Zurich. One-stop connections include cities such as Paris, Rome, and Budapest.

The airport is 21 miles from the hotel, meaning that a taxi, shuttle, or bus can provide transportation upon arrival. An UBER costs approximately $30 and a taxi costs approximately $50 for a one-way trip from the airport to the hotel (as of August 2019).

A second airport option to try is St. Pete – Clearwater International Airport (Airport Code: PIE). This airport offers several American discount airlines and is approximately 13 miles from the hotel. So, if you’re flying within the U.S., this might be a good option.

While it is impossible to predict travel rates, here is an idea of lower priced flight costs per Google/flights (as of late August 2019):

  • Sydney – Tampa  $1226 - $1400 USD

  • Tokyo – Tampa  $1280 - $1375 USD

  • Paris – Tampa  $984   - $1061 USD

  • London – Tampa  $443   - $468   USD

  • Jakarta – Tampa  $1288 - $1540 USD
