For those living outside of the U.S. and Canada and traveling to the 2026 IACS Summit on Communication and Sport, you may be eligible for our 2026 International Travel Grant.  

 

IACS has devoted funding to IACS international travel grants for the 2026 IACS Summit on Communication and Sport held in Dublin, Ireland.

Awards will be up to, but not exceeding, $500 USD per recipient.

Qualifications: 

• A scholar traveling from an institution outside of the U.S. or Canada 

• Priority will be given to scholars from Tier B and Tier C countries, as defined on our membership page (link)

• A current member of IACS

• Presenting at least one paper or participating in a panel at the 2026 IACS Summit on Communication and Sport

• Money must be spent for travel to the 2026 IACS Summit on Communication and Sport (money not used will be forfeited) 

• Does not have existing monies from previous travel awards (all previous travel awards must be spent)
