2017 Conference​
Tenth Summit on Communication and Sport
Hosted by: Arizona State University
Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona
The Tenth Summit on Communication and Sport was hosted by Arizona State University. This special 10th Summit featured scholars from many disciplines. The conference featured a keynote from Dr. Lawrence Wenner titled "Anniversaries, Trajectories, and the Challenges for the Communication of Sport." This entire program was coordinated by Jeffrey W. Kassing and Lindsey J. Mean.

2016 Conference​
Ninth Summit on Communication and Sport
Hosted by: Ferris State University
Grand Rapids, Michigan
The Ninth Summit on Communication and Sport was hosted by Ferris State University. Hosted at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the Summit featured many scholars from many disciplines. The conference featured plenary sessions focusing on the internationalization of communication and sport, the importance of minor league sports, and further defining communication and sport research and activities. This program was coordinated by Sandra Alspach of Ferris State University.

2015 Conference​
Eighth Summit on Communication and Sport
Hosted by: University of North Carolina at Charlotte
Charlotte, North Carolina
The Eighth Summit on Communication and Sport was hosted by the University of North Carolina at Charloote. The Summit began with an opening reception at the newly constructed BB&T Ballpark, home of the Chaloote Knights (AAA baseball affiliate for the Chicago White Sox). Alongside 40 academic presentation panels, the Summit featured invited guests including: Dr. Michael Real (Professor, Royal Roads University), Kami Mattioli (College Basketball Editor, The Sporting News), Artis Twyman (Senior Director of Communications, St. Louis Rams NFL Football team), and Jodie Valade (Sports Features and Enterprise Writer, The Cleveland Plain Dealer, The Dallas Morning News, and The Kansas City Star).
This program was coordinated by Dan Grano, Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

2014 Conference​
Seventh Summit on Communication and Sport
Hosted by: Marist College
New York, New York
The Seventh Summit on Communication and Sport took IACS to New York City, New York. The Summit began with a pre-conference highlighted by a visit and presentation at Major League Baseball Headquarters, A-10 basketball tournament viewing at the Barclays Center, and presentation from Brooklyn Nets administration. Alongside 10 academic presentation sessions, the Summit featured panels focusing on marketing and public relations industry perspective, sports reporting, and the future of sports media.
This program was coordinated by Keith Strudler, Founder and Director of the Marist College Center for Sports Communication & Associate Professor of Communication at Marist College (Poughkeepsie, NY).
